The MTR CNR EMU (also known as C-Train by MTR officially announced) is a train for the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) in Hong Kong. It is manufactured by Changchun Railway Vehicles a member of CNR group.The trains were the first China-made heavy-rail stock in the territory while past orders came from England Japan Europe or South Korea.As of December 6 2010 the first trainset has rolled off of production lines at CNR’s plant.The first train was transported to Hong Kong on April 28 2011.
