Mount Veniaminof is an active stratovolcano located on the Alaska Peninsula. The Alaska Volcano Observatory currently rates Veniaminof as Aviation Color Code YELLOW and Volcano Alert Level ADVISORY as of September 20 2013 2030 (UTC) after seismic and satellite observations of reduced activity following observations of elevated temperature during June 2013.
