Morgaine le Fey is a fictional character a comic book supervillain published by DC Comics. She debuted in The Demon vol. 1 #1 (September 1972) and was created by Jack Kirby. The character is based on Morgan le Fay the mythical sorceress and half-sister of King Arthur first made popular in Geoffrey of Monmouth’s Vita Merlini (Life of Merlin).
