Moomba (also known as the Moomba Festival) held annually in Melbourne is Australia’s largest free community festival[citation needed] and one of Australia’s longest running community festivals.[citation needed] It is celebrated during the Labour Day long weekend (over four days from Friday to the second Monday in March).
