The Monument to the Victims of the Soviet Occupation (Romanian: Monument în memoria victimelor ocupaţiei sovietice) is a monument in Chişinău Moldova.The commemorative stone of a monument to the victims of the Soviet occupation and of the totalitarian communist regime was unveiled and blessed on June 28 2010 on the day decreed to be the Soviet Occupation Day. It was opened in the National Assembly Square in front of the government building where a Lenin monument used to stand.
