Ayatollah Mohsen Mojtahed Shabestari (Persian: محسن مجتهد شبستری was born 1937 in Shabestar East Azerbaijan) and is an Iranian Shiite cleric and politician. He is a member of the present (4th) Assembly of Experts from the East Azerbaijan electorate. Mojtahed Shabestari won with 671254 votes and he is imam Jumu’ah for Tabriz in northwest of Iran.
