MLS Cup 2009 the 14th edition of Major League Soccer’s championship match was played between the Los Angeles Galaxy and Real Salt Lake to decide the champion of the 2009 season. The final was played at Qwest Field in Seattle Washington on November 22 2009. Salt Lake won the game 5–4 in a penalty shootout following a 1–1 draw.
