Ministry of Regional Development of Russia (Russian: Министерство регионального развития Российской Федерации – Минрегион России) is the federal ministry in the Russian government that is responsible for regional social development. The ministry has a variety of roles including protecting national minorities nurturing interrelations between the different nationalities of Russia as well as development of the North Pole and enhancement of the local administration in the country.
