The Ministry of Justice (Finnish: oikeusministeriö Swedish: justitieministeriet) is one of the 12 ministries in the Finnish Government. Headed by the Minister of Justice it is responsible for maintaining and developing order and legal safeguards and overseeing the structures of democracy and the fundamental rights of citizens in Finland.
