The New Zealand Ministry of Defence (in Māori: Manatū Kaupapa Waonga) is the arm of the New Zealand Government charged with providing advice on defence matters as well as providing oversight over the New Zealand Defence Force.As of 2011 it is led by Jonathan Coleman.
