The Ministry of Culture (Hindi: संस्कृति मंत्रालय) is the Indian government ministry charged with preservation and promotion of art and culture.The Minister of Culture holds cabinet rank as a member of the Council of Ministers. Chandresh Kumari is currently the Minister of Culture. Recently government has started National Mission on Libraries India under this ministry.
