The Minister of Defence Disarmament and Veterans ((French)) (MDNDAC) is a minister of the DR Congo government responsible for implementation of government defence policy and supervises the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The current minister is Charles Mwando of the Alliance for the Presidential Majority.[citation needed]The President Major General Joseph Kabila is the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
