Mimi Areme was born on September 28 1988 in the Volta Region of Ghana. She was crowned the winner of the Miss Ghana 2009 beauty pageant. Areme later competed in the Miss World 2010 pageant in the southern Chinese city of Sanya on October 30 where Miss USA Alexandria Mills was crowned the overall winner.
