Line 5 is a subway line in Milan Italy. The line is part of the Milan Metro and serves the north-eastern suburb of the city. The first part of the line from Bignami to Zara opened on 10 February 2013. The second part from Zara to Garibaldi FS opened on 1 March 2014.The line operates using AnsaldoBreda Driverless Metro vehicles the same of the Copenhagen Metro.The line is being built by the Metro 5 SpA consortium.
