Michael MacKay Austin (born August 26 1943) is an American former competition swimmer Olympic champion and former world record-holder. He represented the United States at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo Japan where he won a gold medal in the men’s 4×100-meter freestyle relay with Steve Clark Gary Ilman and Don Schollander setting a new world record.
