Migrant labourers in Kerala are some 2.5 million (25 lakhs) semi-skilled or non-skilled migrant labourers from other States of India mostly from West Bengal Odisha Bihar Jharkhand Chhattisgarh Assam and other north-eastern parts of India in search of employment and higher wages.
