MIGATO (abbreviation of Movimiento Independiente Ganamos Todos lit. ‘Everybody Wins Independent Movement’) was a political party in Venezuela. Migato was founded in 1997 by José Gregorio Briceño the mayor of Cedeño Municipality of Monagas State. El gato (the cat) is his nickname and mi gato means my cat. At the Venezuelan parliamentary election 2000 the party won 1 out of 165 seats in the National Assembly of Venezuela.Briceño was elected as the governor of Monagas in 2004.
