Mid-Ulster District Council is a local authority that will be formally established on 1 April 2015. it will replace Cookstown District Council Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council and Magherafelt District Council. The first elections to the authority will be on 22 May 2014 and it will act as a shadow authority prior to the creation of the Mid-Ulster district on 1 April 2015.The electoral areas will be Carntogher Clogher Valley Cookstown Dungannon Magherafelt Moyola and Torrent.
