Microhouse buftech or sometimes just minimal is a subgenre of house music strongly influenced by minimalism and 1990s techno.[citation needed] Microhouse shares some common elements with less intense deep house notably low pulsating basslines and long-lasting crashes however they both diverge on the tempo and on the presence/absence of vocals.
