Michael Ryan (1970 in Upperchurch County Tipperary) is a retired Irish sportsperson. He played hurling with his local club Upperchurch-Drombane and with the Tipperary senior inter-county team in the 1990s.He won an All Ireland Under 21 title with Tipperary in 1989 playing at full back as Tipperary defeated Offaly in the final. He made his senior championship debut in 1991 coming on as a sub against Limerick in the Munster semi final.
