Michael Roiz (Russian: Михаил Ройз born 12 October 1983 Russia) is an Israeli chess Grandmaster.He learned to play chess at the age of 7. At the age of 9 he finished 2nd in the national championship under-10 category. In 1995 he moved to Israel becoming an IM in 1999 at the age of 16 and a GM in 2003.
