Michael Mike Parsons (3 October 1960 – 24 April 2009) was an Australian rules footballer who played for the Sydney Swans in the Victorian/Australian Football League (VFL/AFL) and North Adelaide in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL).Parsons grew up in Legana Tasmania. Nicknamed Bristles he was initially a talented basketball player winning a basketball scholarship to Utah.
