Michael Demiurgos is a fictional character in the Lucifer series by DC comics and is a creation of Mike Carey based on the archangel Michael. When the God of the Covenant began His creation of the Universe He formed two powerful beings to fulfil His desires: one was the archangel Michael who was given the demiurgic (having an autonomous creative force or decisive power) power to enable the physical creation of the cosmos to occur (Big Bang moment).
