Michael Conneely (born 14 June 1949) is an Irish retired hurler who played as a goalkeeper for the Galway senior team.Born in Bullaun County Galway Conneely first excelled at hurling in his youth. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of twenty-five when he made his senior debut with Galway in the 1974 championship. Conneely went on to play a key role for Galway and won one All-Ireland medal and one National Hurling League medal.
