Monsignor Michael Augustine (born on 12 June 1933 in Kovilanoor Virudhachalam of Pondicherry-Cuddalore Archdiocese) is a Catholic archbishop (emeritus) of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Pondicherry and Cuddalore. Archbishop Michael Augustine is at present the senior most Bishop from Tamil Nadu Pondicherry region(Tamil Nadu Bishop’s Council) with 36 years as Bishop and 53 years of priesthood life as on 2013.
