Michał Bogusław Bąkiewicz (born March 22 1981 in Piotrków Trybunalski)- is a Polish men’s volleyball player member of the national Polish team that won silver medal of World Championship 2006 and gold medal of European Championship 2009. Participant in the Olympic Games Athens 2004. He ended his career as a volleyball player in 2014. On February 2 2014 officially announced that Bąkiewicz candidate for European Parliament 2014 as a candidate of SLD from the Łódz district.
