The Mesquito is a new sounding rocket vehicle developed for the NASA Sounding Rocket Program on Wallops Island Virginia. The skeeter (from similarity of name to mosquito) was developed to provide rocket-borne measurements of the mesospheric region of the upper atmosphere.
