The McSwain Theatre is a 560-seat theatre located in Ada Oklahoma. The theatre was founded in 1920 by Foster McSwain and served as a venue for silent films vaudeville performances and film premieres. The theatre opened on March 30 1920 and is housed in a three story Spanish Mission style building. The first film to show at the McSwain was Suds starring Mary Pickford on July 19 1920. In 1935 the theatre underwent its first renovations.
