Maya Sharma was a fictional character on the UK TV soap opera Coronation Street. She was played by Sasha Behar. She appears between 2003 and 2004. Maya was perhaps best known for her disastrous relationship with Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) and her dangerous feud with Dev’s wife Sunita Alahan (Shobna Gulati). She held the pair hostage in her flat and set the building on fire. As she made her escape Maya was involved in a horrific car accident.
