Maurice Jean Marie Bourgès-Maunoury (French pronunciation: [moʁis buʁʒɛs monuʁi]; 19 August 1914 in Luisant Eure-et-Loir – 10 February 1993 in Paris) was a French Radical politician who served as Prime Minister in the Fourth Republic during 1957.He is famous especially for fulfilling a prominent ministerial role in the government during the Suez Crisis.[citation needed]
