Maurício Milani Shogun Rua (Portuguese pronunciation: [mawˈɾisiu ˈʁuɐ]; born November 25 1981) is a Brazilian professional mixed martial artist who fights in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He is a former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and the 2005 Pride Middleweight Grand Prix Champion. As of February 17 2014 he is #6 in official UFC light heavyweight rankings.
