Matthew O’Connor (born 26 February 1971) is a former British national and Olympic swimmer. O’Connor competed in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona and swam to a 32nd-place finish in the Men’s 200 M Backstroke.O’Connor set the British national record in the 200-meter backstroke with a time of 2:02.88. At the British National meet he placed second in both the 100 meter and 200 meter backstroke events.
