Matthew Mellon (Matthew Taylor Mellon II; born 1964) is the Chairman of the New York Republican Party’s Finance Committee. He is a direct descendant of Judge Thomas Mellon[citation needed] founder of the Mellon Bank now Bank of New York Mellon corp on his paternal side.
