Matilda Mecini (born October 5 1988 in Tirana Albania) is a beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Albania 2008 on April 4 2008. Mecini then represented Albania in the Miss Universe 2008 pageant in Nha Trang Vietnam on July 14 2008.Mecini studied World Literature at the University of Tirana. She is a basketball player and was the team leader of the professional basketball team Tirana when she was only sixteen-years-old.
