Mary Stott (née Waddington) (18 July 1907 – 16 September 2002) was a British feminist and journalist. Stott was a journalist and columnist on the Women’s Page of The Guardian. Stott was born on 18 July 1907 in Leicester to Robert and Amalie Waddington (née Bates) as Charlotte Mary Waddington. Her parents were both journalists. In 1937 she married Ken Stott who was a journalist for the News Chronicle.
