Markus Eggler (born January 22 1969 in Thun) is a retired Swiss curler from Münchenstein.Eggler was the skip of the Swiss team at the 1986 1987 and 1989 World Junior Curling Championships. At the 1989 event he won a bronze medal. He then skipped the Swiss team at the World Curling Championships in 1991 1992 and 1994. He was the world champion in 1992 when his Swiss team defeated Hammy McMillan’s Scottish team in the final 6-3.
