Mark Bryant (born 8 October 1949)[citation needed] is the suffragan Bishop of Jarrow in the Church of England.Educated at St John’s School Leatherhead and St John’s College Durham University he studied for the ordained ministry at Cuddesdon College before serving curacies at Addlestone Guildford from 1975 to 1979 and from 1979 to 1983 at Studley Salisbury (during the latter also acting as Chaplain to Trowbridge college) — he was then Vicar of the same parish from 1983 to 1988.
