Marjolein Buis (born 11 Jan 1988) is a Dutch wheelchair tennis player. She participated in the Paralympic Games in London 2012 and won a GOLD medal in the women’s doubles event with partner Esther Vergeer. Marjolein is a former World Number One in the doubles.Marjolein Buis was born in Nijmegen the Netherlands. At the age of 14 she started to experience problems when walking.
