Mario Tabares (born July 22 1965 in Havana Cuba) is a professional tennis player from Cuba. He enjoyed most of his tennis success while playing doubles. During his career he won 1 doubles title. He achieved a career-high doubles ranking of World No. 106 in 1993.Tabares participated in 16 Davis Cup ties for Cuba from 1987 to 1994 posting a 15–17 record in singles and a 7–9 record in doubles.Mario along with his wife recently opened a tennis store in the heart of Miami.
