Mario C. Raviglione has been Director of the Global Tuberculosis Programme at the World Health Organization (WHO) since 2003. Raviglione has authored or co-authored published hundreds of articles on the topics of infectious diseases HIV/AIDS and TB including in the last five editions of the Harrison’s Principles of Internal Medicine.
