Mario Aurelio Poli (born 29 November 1947) is a an Argentine cardinal of the Catholic Church. He has served as the Archbishop of Buenos Aires since his appointment on 28 March 2013. He was installed as archbishop on 20 April 2013 to succeed Jorge Bergoglio who had become Pope Francis and was raised to the cardinalate in 2014. He previously served as the bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Santa Rosa in Argentina.
