Mariëtte Sonjaleen Bosch (died 31 March 2001 later named Mariëtte Wolmarans) was a South African woman executed by the government of Botswana on 31 March 2001 at age 50. She was executed by hanging for the murder of Maria Magdalene Ria Wolmarans another South African woman in June 1996. Bosch was the first white woman to be executed in Botswana. She was the fourth woman hanged in Botswana since that country’s independence.
