Margarita Gasparyan (born September 1 1994 in Moscow Russia) is a professional Russian tennis player. On October 8 2012 she reached her highest WTA singles ranking of 223. One October 15 she reached her highest WTA doubles ranking of 275. She started playing tennis at the age of 5 and is coached by Ganiev Timur. Her backhand is renowned to be the best one-handed backhand among the young Russian tennis players on WTA Tour.
