Margaret Holford (1778-1852) was an English poet and translator. Her mother also Margaret Holford (1757-1834) also wrote and their works are said sometimes to be confused in bibliographies.Holford was baptised on 1 June 1778 in Chester and married Septimus Hodson (1768-1833) chaplain to the Prince of Wales in 1826.
