Marcus Whelan (27 June 1914–1973) was an Australian rules footballer who played for Collingwood Football Club during the 1930s and 1940s. He played in the midfield as a centreman and on occasions would be seen in defence. Whelan won the Brownlow Medal in 1939 and was also awarded Collingwood’s best and fairest award the Copeland Trophy.
