Marcelo Battistuzzi (born July 20 1976 in São Paulo) is a Brazilian racing driver. He has raced in such series as International Formula 3000 and Italian Formula 3000. He won both the German Formula Opel and European Formula Opel championships in 1997.Started his career racing Karts in Brazil in 1989. After good results and wins in Campinas and São Paulo Championships moved to single-seaters entering the Brazilian Formula Ford Championship with his own team (1993).
