Mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase kinase kinase 4 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the MAP4K4 gene.The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the serine/threonine protein kinase family. This kinase has been shown to specifically activate MAPK8/JNK.
