The Mampuri Wind Farm (also known as the Senok Wind Farm after its operators) is the first wind farm in Sri Lanka that reached the 10 MW installed capacity threshold. The eight-turbine wind farm is located next to the Lakvijaya Power Station on the Kalpitiya peninsula. The wind farm is being developed in three stages with the first stage of 10 MW commissioned in 22 March 2010.
