Mackay Memorial Hospital (Chinese: 馬偕紀念醫院; pinyin: Mǎxié Jìniàn Yīyuàn) established on December 26 1912 is one of the biggest medical center in Taiwan. The hospital is a private Christian hospital in downtown Taipei Taiwan. The hospital is mostly associated with the Revd Dr. George Leslie Mackay DD the first modern missionary to northern Taiwan. The hospital is deeply rooted in the Presbyterian denomination and is under the spiritual guidance of the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan.
