Macédomienne (My Macedonian girl) was the Belgian entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 1990 performed in French by Philippe Lafontaine who also composed it. The title of the song is a portmanteau blend of the two words Macédonienne (Macedonian girl or woman) and mienne (of mine).The song was performed third on the night following Greece’s Christos Callow & Wave with Horis Skopo and preceding Turkey’s Kayahan with Gözlerinin Hapsindeyim.
